Tour de Autism

Tour de Autism is a charity cycling event through the Sam Houston National Forest located 50 miles north of Houston. All funds raised benefit The Sean Ashley House. The mission of The Sean Ashley House is to provide a meaningful living environment for children and adults with disabilities with a goal for individuals to reach and maintain their maximum potential and to have meaningful, productive lives in a loving, happy, and safe home environment.

Space Race

The Space Race is not a race. It is a cycling event to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Houston/ Galveston, Inc. JoLynn was one of the over 2,500 riders that raised over $100,000 during this event.

Schlumberger Education Expedition

JoLynn participated in this cycling event benefiting Fort Bend Education Foundation. The Foundation provides opportunities to enrich and enhance the quality of education for all Fort Bend ISD students. Programs include: Grants for Teachers and Schools, Grants for Experts, and the Angel Gifts Program.

Livestrong Challenge

The LIVESTRONG Challenge is the Lance Armstrong Foundation's signature fundraising event held in four U.S. cities. Participants walk, run, and/or cycle to unite in the fight against cancer. JoLynn cycled in the Austin, Texas event through the beautiful hill country.

BP MS 150

April 21-22, 2007

Michelle participated in the BP MS 150, a two-day fundraising bike ride from Houston to Austin organized by the National MS Society. It's the largest non-profit event of its kind in North America with more than 13,000 registered cyclists, 3,000 volunteers, and countless supporters and spectators. The ride raises millions for MS research and services for persons living with MS.

Multiple sclerosis (or MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system (CNS), which is made up of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision. The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another. Today, new treatments and advances in research are giving new hope to people affected by the disease.

Tour de Cure

Tour de Cure is a series of fundraising cycling events held nationwide to benefit the American Diabetes Association. The Tour is a ride, not a race, with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.
